Digital Rhapsody Classic Cinema main purpose is to save great forgotten films. Our mission is to ensure the films are restored and maintained as the filmmakers intended, and reissuing / re-distributing them to a new digital audience.

And we take our mission extremely seriously…
So if the film was originally released in black and white – we release in black and white. If the film was produced in 4:3 instead of 16:9 widescreen – we do the same.

Digital Rhapsody Classic Cinema does not believe in “colourizing”, as the footage always seems to look like it’s made out of Plasticine (modeling clay for the Americans), and looses the detail, definition and ‘soul’ of the film.

All our films are available to broadcast, rent and purchase – both digitally and physically.
